After only 21 years the Kiawah Inn Resort was demolished to build another Luxury Resort, The Sanctuary which is a 5 Diamond-5 Star Resort.
Many miss the Kiawah Inn's beautiful gardens and pool complex, along with the welcoming rocking-chair porches.
My husband and I got married in 1997 on Kiawah Island Beach and our wedding party all stayed at the Inn. We truly miss it!
