Bermuda Hibiscus Shelia Kempf 2003
"Bermuda Bliss" was painted from a photograph that I took while staying at the Fairmont South Hampton Resort in Bermuda. It was taken of Jew's Bay at the Waterlot Inn Restaurant which is part of the Fairmont South Hampton Resort. It offers breathtaking sunset views.
Waterlot Inn is a graceful, two-story manor house, which dates from 1670. Many local Bermudians approach this restaurant by water mooring their boats at the sheltered cove. Over the years, the Inn has attracted guests like Mark Twain, James Thurber, Eleanor Roosevelt, and Eugene O'Neill.
